My name is Brad Howl and I am starting my 28th year working for Weatherford Public Schools. I grew up in Tulsa, OK, and spent my summers living with my grandparents in Hobart, OK, working on the family farm. I attended Oklahoma State University and graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I am married and have two great boys who I am very proud of. I enjoy watching them play sports and traveling with my family. I am also very proud of my wife Mary. She is a 5th grade teacher at West Elementary. I started teaching 4th grade and really enjoyed working with that age group. I did that for 7 years. I then spent a year teaching technology and keyboarding and also doing the Gifted and Talented program. My next assignment was being the district technology coordinator for 3 years. I found that I really missed the interaction with the students so when a position came open at East teaching 2nd grade I jumped at it. I taught second grade for 5 years and then was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to become the Principal. I recently became a grandfather for the first and second time. My son parent and his wife Lexy had twins. I now have a grandson and a granddaughter.
